The super-brief history of Trading Academy and some random information that's not really useful, but might be fun to read. Think of it as flavor text. ^_^

TCG stands for Trading Card Game. In this case, the game is played online with virtual cards. But that doesn't mean it's any less fun than actual card collecting! In your quest to master card sets and level up, you'll get to play games, enter contests, be creative, and interact with other members.
trading academy
The "theme" of Trading Academy is an elite private school - think Gakuen Heaven, if you're familiar with that game. Yes, complete with the mysterious headmaster. The TCG was started in December 2004 by Rahenna and opened in January 2005 with Rahenna and Marfisa as owners. Since then, there have been several other co-owners, Marfisa has left the game completely, Rahenna closed for a while, etc etc. It's been a rough road!
Today Academy is going strong with Rahenna, Mamori, and Marfisa working as a team to handle updates, deck releases, email, and lots of other things! Of course, there's plenty of staff to help out too, as the game has become huge recently!
the headmaster...
The headmaster is a mysterious character who runs the Academy from behind the scenes. Rumor has it that he's rather stuffy and old-fashioned, almost as if he's from another time period. I've also heard that he's quite young and rather handsome! ^_~ He's rarely seen by the students or the staff - so rarely, in fact, that Rahenna, Mamori, and Eimii act as headmistresses in his stead!
But that doesn't mean that the headmaster isn't paying attention to what goes on. He's always looking for ways to improve the Academy, though he usually leaves the details up to his staff. ^_^;; If you're an exceptional student, maybe you'll get to meet him someday.
